On June 13th, 2018 the NJ Governor signed into law a high capacity Magazines ban which limits all firearms and magazines to a 10 rounds.
The penalty is a crime of the 4th degree, punishable up to an 18 months in jail and $10,000 fine per magazine.

The grace period for possession of large capacity magazines expired on Dec 10, 2018 as per N.J.S.2C:39-3j
You now MUST Store, Turn in, Destroy or Modify your
High Capacity Magazines.
